Educated in Edinburgh Cameron Joined the Army almost straight after school, attending Sandhurst then serving in N. Ireland, The Falklands and Germany before leaving in 1986 to start Field and Lawn. He has built the business together with the team (some of who are still working in the business from the early days) from one or two staff and tents to the largest privately owned and run marquee hire company in the UK.

Cameron is married with 3 daughters; his interests are cycle racing and field sports.
