"Having contractors on site who have supported an event for many years can be a two-edged sword. On the one hand they require less brief because they know the site well, on the other hand lots of companies cut corners.
This is not the case with Field and Lawn. No matter how often they build the site the senior management understand the task and this is communicated, in detail, to the men on the ground. The site manager knows when to consult and seek guidance and when to act on his own initiative. More importantly, the Field and Lawn team become part of the Royal Highland Team and will go that extra mile to provide exceptional service.
A build-up and delivery as complex as the Royal Highland Show cannot happen without first class contractors. Field and Lawn come into that category.

Background
The Royal Highland Show is one of Scotland’s iconic Agricultural Shows and in 2010 it attracted 180,000 visitors. The show has developed beyond recognition and is now internationally recognised as an annual celebration of Scottish farming, food and countryside, attracting an audience far beyond its farming roots - a showcase of all that’s good about Scotland.
Brief
To provide a range of temporary structures to support the facilities at the Royal Highland Showground. Including the provision of animal enclosures, food courts, band stands and exhibitor stands. In total we supply 9000 square metres of marquee coverage.
Solution
A well executed delivery, on time, within budget, which exceeds the clients expectations. We are delighted that the Royal Highland Show have signed a three year contract in 2010 and look forward to working with them on many more successful operations.
