Bristol Branch's 3 Peaks Race

To celebrate the end of the marquee hire season, the leadership within the Bristol Field and Lawn Marquees branch, are taking part in the 3 peaks race. Not content to watch the Edinburgh branch take all the glory with the recent challenge in Scotland, Tony Perfect and Gary Ferguson are taking on the challenge of the 3 peaks covering the length of the UK.

Starting in Scotland climbing Ben Nevis then travelling to Cumbria to climb the highest peak in England Scar Fell Pike they will finally head South back toward the Bristol Branch climbing Mount Snowdon in Wales. All this within 24 hours.

Fortunately the Marquee hire business is very physical and requires a level of fitness and both Tony and Gary have regularly been walking to work. This is tough for Tony who lives over 12 miles from the Bristol branch. Both are also hands on managers so erecting marquees has helped build strength.

The event takes place on Sat 23rd September and Tony and Gary are raising money for Cancer Research please feel free to donate at http://www.justgiving.com/24hrs3mountains and thank you to anybody doing so.
