Field and Lawn Stands Up To The Storm

After a week of some of the highest winds ever recorded across the UK it is time to reflect on the amazing ability of our marquees to stand up to the most severe of Britain’s weather.

During a week of extreme wind, snow and heavy rain in England, Scotland and Wales we have had over 30 marquees in place with no real incident. Indeed on the evening with the most severe gales in over 20 years, we had over 2000 guests in various christmas party marquees having a ball, 5 ice rink structures and many other marquees used for Christmas promotions, private parties and temporary shops. From Perthshire in Scotland to events and parties on the South Coast of England we have had no problem.

We have been putting up marquees now for over 25 years and this experience helps tremendously; and a large thanks must go to our operational teams for the extra effort.

Any time of year, any place in the UK, and any weather………..a new motto perhaps?
