Marquee For Royal Visit To De Montfort University

Field & Lawn Marquees have just played host to some very special guests, HRH The Queen and The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton!

The event, which is part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee United Kingdom Tour, was at De Montfort University in Leicester, the Midlands. The structure supplied was to the highest specification and such was the media interest the event attracted the UK press as well as other media from the rest of the world.

The 20m structure was erected by our North Region Branch which is situated in Runcorn, Cheshire (near Manchester) and was used for a fashion show where the Queen and Duchess of Cambridge had front row seats. The temporary structure was supplied with a contemporary flat lining and had a red, white and blue theme.

Leicester was the one of the first locations on the Royal tour and is to be followed by visits to other UK cities such as Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
