Another year, another Parklife Festival!

The Field and Lawn Manchester team were thrilled to be back in Heaton Park recently where international acts and upcoming bands gathered to play for a sell out crowd of over 80,000 at Parklife.

Working with the festival for several years, 2018 gave the Field and Lawn team a new challenge. The festival required a new artist’s village - straight-forward enough. But here’s the tricky part. With the festival increasing in size and numbers over the years, the space available is now incredibly limited leaving us with the question, where will this new artists village go?

However, the Manchester team used all their experience to extensively and thoroughly assess the area, finding the perfect spot for artists to relax before taking to the stage.

Located in a more secluded spot on the edge of woodland, Field and Lawn found the perfect place for a 10m x 10m marquee to be set up.

The peaceful surroundings allowed artists such as Liam Gallagher, Skepta, Lorde and N.E.R.D. to step away from the busy hub of the main festival while still being onsite. With the clearspan roof, the location was perfect for the artists to enjoy the glorious sunshine, as well as the spectacularly clear, starry sky at night.

This structure was just one of over 70 marquees that were installed across the site for the festival. Find out more about our festival marquee hire services by contacting your nearest branch using the form below.
