The award winning Kendal Calling music festival returned to the Lake District for its 13th year this July.
Beginning its life as a two-day, 900 capacity event back in 2006 at Abbott Park, the festival, now held at Lowther Deer Park, continues to sell out year after year. This year was no different, with all 25,000 tickets selling out months in advance of the go live date!
Kendal Callers were treated to glorious sunshine for the first two days of the show, but no British Summer Festival would be complete without a bit of rain and things got a little wet and wild over the weekend when the clouds rolled in on Saturday afternoon.
There were however plenty of places for the crowds to seek refuge from the blazing sun or the torrential downpours, courtesy of Field and Lawn.
Amongst the 3,500 sq metres of marquees provided by the Field and Lawn team this year, we installed both the House Party and Performing Arts tents allowing festival goers to continue to enjoy the variety of artists and acts scheduled to perform over the four-day event under shelter.
Super early bird tickets for next year have already sold out and Field and Lawn has also secured its return for 2019. Guarantee your place in the fields now for what is sure to be another amazing year, come rain or shine!
