Field and Lawn team raises over £3,900 for charity
Wednesday 27 June, 2018
A few months ago, you may have seen some of our Field and Lawn team members in full training mode. In preparation for the ‘Big B2E Ride’, 6 brave souls endured the elements and trained for the 4 day bike ride which would see them travel from Bristol’s iconic suspension bridge to Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
Though they may have had their fair share of sore muscles, and covered around 100 miles per day, the end result was absolutely worth it. Raising over £3,900 for the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, our star cyclists made it across the finish line and took their victory photo at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh - well done guys!
The money raised from the Big B2E Ride contributes to the hospital’s Grand Appeal. The hospital treats over 100,000 patients every year who have life threatening illnesses. As a team, we’re proud to support this charity which does so much for families across the South West of England, and we were delighted to be involved.
Our donation page is still open if you’d like to make a contribution. Visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/field-and-lawn to donate.*
