Pigs and Goats and Chickens, Oh My!
Monday 26 August, 2019
Not a week goes by during the summer months when the Field and Lawn teams aren’t about to embark on the build or dismantle of another music festival.
Alongside all the music festivals however, Field and Lawn teams have been travelling the length and breadth of the UK installing structures at some of the most prestigious agricultural shows. With branches strategically positioned to provide a national coverage we have been able to deliver marquees at the Royal Highland show in Scotland, the Great Yorkshire Show in England and the Royal Welsh in Wales with many others in between.
Most recently the Manchester branch headed over the border to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey to install nearly 50,000 sq ft of marquees at the Anglesey Agricultural Show.
This is the 10th year we have been supplying marquees to Anglesey Agricultural Society, along with many of the exhibitors who attend the show annually.
We always welcome the opportunity to work with new companies and see what interesting products or services they will be presenting at the show. In amongst the Fur & Feather, Goat and Pig marquees this year, we’ve also built structures for new exhibitors including a shoemaker, a university, a heating supplier and a governing police body.
With new businesses and initiatives joining the list of the trade stands each year, it means there is always something fresh and novel for people to see, learn about and enjoy during their visit.
Our dismantle work is almost done on site for this year but we’ll be back next year to do it all over again, and hopefully add another couple of interesting exhibitors to our list.
It’s not too early to think about festival marquees for next year – get in touch with your nearest branch to see how we can help with your upcoming project.
