By Field & Lawn

"If it’s not raining, it’s not training.” Wise words from a keen cyclist. And especially relevant to the training some of our Field and Lawn team have been enduring in preparation for a challenge that will push their strength and endurance to the limit.

In May 2018, Field and Lawn will raise money for ‘The Grand Appeal by cycling from Bristol to Edinburgh over 4 days. Averaging over 100 miles per day, the team will be starting at the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge and finishing at Arthur's Seat.

This outstanding team of individuals is made up of:

Cameron ‘Cycling Extraordinaire’ Stewart
Ross ‘Flying Scotsman’ Robertson
Nick ‘The Shelf’ Radcliffe
Tom ‘Bearded Artisan’ Fursman
Gary ‘Cookie Monster’ Ferguson
Chris ‘Flying Squirrel’ Baber

Plus there may be some special guest appearances, so stay tuned!

The cycle is in aid of a wonderful cause which Field and Lawn is proud to support. ‘The Grand Appeal’ is a Bristol Children's Hospital Charity and has been saving lives as well as supporting sick children and their families at the hospital since 1995.

The whole Field and Lawn team would greatly appreciate any donations and these can be submitted through our JustGiving page.*

We wish the team the best of luck, and we’ll look forward to your selfie from the top of Arthur’s Seat (legs permitting!)

*Just Giving will not sell your details or send you unsolicited emails. All money donated is sent directly to the charity.
