The show must go on...

Despite the recent sunshine, weather warnings across Scotland put our team to the test in the lead up to this year’s Royal Highland Show.

Taking place in June, The Royal Highland Show is the main event held by the Royal Highland and Agricultural society of Scotland, with over 1,000 traders taking part. The show has been an iconic family event for 178 years, and this year was no exception.

With wind speeds reaching a worrying 60mph in the run up to the show, we had to make sure our structures were safe and able to withstand the almighty gusts. With exceptional work, enthusiasm and positivity from our Edinburgh based team, everything was finished on time and everyone was very pleased with the final look.

The calm after the storm brought brighter weather for the weekend and a show ground we were personally very proud of.

The show was a phenomenal success and exceeded all expectations. With everything from great food and drink to first class entertainment, art, fashion, as well as all things agricultural, the Royal Highland show highlighted the best of Scotland, farming culture and rural lifestyle. We are proud to support this exceptional four day event each year and can’t wait to see what 2019 will bring!

In between all the team’s hard work, they did get the opportunity to relax and enjoy the festivities of the show. Watching show jumping, pipe bands, and cooking competitions, the team had a well-deserved weekend of fun.
